The combination of the summer bushfires and now the coronavirus means we are now really struggling financially. As a small not-for-profit we run a pretty lean ship anyway, sending the majority of our funds directly to those we help on a daily basis.
Unfortunately, this means that we don’t have large cash reserves and are really vulnerable during times like this. Many of our supporters can no longer support us because they are struggling as a business and need financial aid themselves.
